In this darkness,
I search to find.
The light lost,
In this world of mine.

Where all i hear,
Is a dulcet tone.
Of my heart,
Which had turned to stone.

My hands quake,
In iron chains.
My mouth screams,
Of wordless pains.

Towards a sky,
Filled with stars.
Illuminating,
My thousand scars.

And in this darkness,
I'm forced to pray.
Wondering if this be,
My only way.
